Liz Cheney Bitch Slaps Norah O’Donnell

Okay, confession time. I’ve had a crush on Norah O’Donnell for years. I think she’s beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, and well-spoken. She has also has a great smile and a wonderful, side-splitting laugh (see here).

Given my extreme predisposition to Norah, it is with great reluctance that I have to admit I just can’t stand listening to her anymore. Like most of the gang over at MessNBC, she has completely given up any pretense of objectivity. And worse yet, she parrots the liberal party line even when it is demonstrably false. I expect that from the likes of Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, but I expect more—or at least hope for more—from Norah.

This video with Liz Cheney, the former VP’s daughter, vividly illustrates the point. Time and again, Cheney accurately chastises O’Donnell for not having her facts straight. After the fourth or fifth time this happens, O’Donnell starts filibustering in a sad attempt to save face. Cheney, in the meantime, methodically rebuts every DNC talking point that O’Donnell throws at her. Take a look:

Poor, Norah. After I see a display like this, and after I choke down the bile in my throat and rinse my mouth to get rid of that vomit taste, I realize that you and I are just not meant to be.

I wonder how Evangeline Lilly feels about “enhanced interrogation techniques”?
