			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This sounds too good to be true, but <a title="Hot Air Link" href="http://hotair.com/archives/2010/01/09/yowza-brown-48-coakley-47-in-new-ppp-poll/" target="_blank">Public Policy Polling</a> has Republican Scott Brown leading Democrat Martha Coakley by 48-47 in the special election to replace Ted Kennedy.</p>
<p>Sure, it&#8217;s still a long-shot. But I remember last year when conventional wisdom in the media was that Kennedy&#8217;s death would propel Obamacare over the top. I always knew that was ridiculous. Linking Kennedy to Obama&#8217;s legislation could only hurt the President&#8217;s chances with mainstream (a.k.a., not-helplessly-liberal) America.</p>
<p>Coakley will probably pull out the win, but this is already a moral victory. This race never should have been this close. Never.</p>
